Katia chairs are crafted from kiln-dried solid beech wood and treated with UV-protected, eco-friendly water-based paints on the wooden parts. These coatings not only shield the wood from outdoor elements but also preserve its natural touch and texture. With the UV-resistant coating, the wood’s original texture remains intact without fading over time. Moreover, the staining process offers a variety of color options, ranging from light to dark shades.

For enhanced comfort, the seat and back feature high-density foam padding and upholstery. Spare covers are available for purchase, and all fabrics are precisely cut using CNC machines to ensure accurate forms. There is a wide selection of upholstery textiles available, including artificial leather, velvet, woven fabric, linen, genuine leather, bouclé, and nubuck. Customers can also provide their own materials for upholstery, subject to approval from 5A production.

To protect floors from damage during movement, black polypropylene glides are fitted under the chair feet.
